The Pyramid Lake Canoe Adventure tour is an excellent way to start or finish your day in Jasper National Park.  Wild Current specializes in small groups, unique canoe adventures for couples, friends and families.

Our guests often tell us they are blown away by the numerous snow-capped peaks and the chance to see wildlife that call the area home. We'll have an eye out for osprey, loons, muskrat and beaver. This is also a very good birding area in May and June. Fingers-crossed, we may even see moose, bear, elk, deer and wolves!

We love hearing that our clients enjoyed winding down lakeside and appreciate quality time with their travel mates. It's a way to get away from the crowds and enjoy Pyramid Lake Jasper on your own terms. We'll take good care of you: canoeing to shore for homemade treats, hot drinks and summer day swims or autumn campfires.

The lake views are stunning and Mike is the perfect host. We met at the meeting point at Pyramid Lake - about 20 mins drive from Jasper. Once the safety procedures were dealt with and Mike had made sure we were comfortable we set sail across the lake. The far end of the lake has no open trails and so is free from humans.

Mike told us about the history of the lake and its surroundings and about the animals. We were lucky enough to see a Moose and calf which was thrilling. About halfway we stopped for tasty snacks and hot chocolate. Just a perfect time.”
